Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in the parking lot of a Wawa convenience store in South Jersey.
Officers were called to the scene at the corner of Route 37 and Garfield Avenue in Toms River around 7:20 a.m. Friday. No details were released about the person shot. It wasn’t clear if someone was in custody.
Chopper 4 video shows yellow tape cordoning off the scene. Multiple emergency vehicles are in the area.
Prosecutors in Ocean County said their investigation was active and ongoing.
