Your right that is the risk every player faces. But your forgetting some can choose to not take the risk just like Levon Bell did. Is it a popular move no but Bell got his money and more of it was guaranteed. In this case he has a rich father who also paid in the NFL and he doesn't have to take that risk. Bell missed out on a chuck of money because he was tagged, Porter Jr isn't missing out on a ton because it's the back end of a rookie deal. As a fan I hate the whole situation but I can't blame him for doing what he is doing.
