The Tanger Outlets Fort Worth is hosting a shoe recycling drive with Sneaker Impact on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The Sneaker Impact Shoe Drive will be held at Center Court near Polo Ralph Lauren from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. You can donate shoes of any kind, size or condition to be repurposed into usable products.
If you can’t make it on Saturday, Tanger Fort Worth will be collecting shoes through Sept. 30 at bins located inside Skechers and Clarks.
Sneaker Impact is a sustainable footwear recycling company that transforms sneaker waste into granules that can be repurposed, according to their website. The sneakers collected at Tanger Fort Worth will be recycled into raw materials for future soft-play surfaces at Tanger Fort Worth and throughout the community, according to a press release.
In April, Tanger Fort Worth hosted an Earth Day sneaker recycling drive and collected 3,800 shoes.
