Comment on Steelers, Joey Porter Jr. Aren’t At ‘Impasse’ Financially, Dulac Says by ANightAl
Dulac being wrong is a serial thing. And it would seem to be counterproductive to wait untill other Corners salaries go up, before signing him. I would think they are too far apart. And with 38 flags in 3 seasons, he would seem to rank in the top 15, not top 10. He still had one in that Ravens division deciding game. Him signing for less than his draft class is almost a given. QB's throw at him, with a high percentage chance of at least getting a PI. He certainly won't intercept it. Samuel, Dean, Everette showing well as a rookie, along with Echols is a very good group. And without JPJ, still one of the most talented Corner rooms they've had in a while. Don't be surprised if they let him play out the year.. And maybe.not tragic if they let him walk. After all, to tag him for the average of the highest paid at his position is why they should be signing him sooner, erather than later. But because it's crickets coming from the parties, there is no doubt they are far apart.
