A 22-year-old man from Maine has died after a crash in Mansfield on Tuesday, Connecticut State Police said.
State police said that around 12:21 a.m., 22-year-old Zachary Barry was driving westbound on Hunting Lodge Road when he crossed over into the eastbound lane and struck a tree.
Barry was extracted from the vehicle and transported to Hartford Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at 2:43 a.m. on Wednesday, according to state police.
His vehicle was towed from the scene.
