Police arrested a suspect after a woman was injured in a shooting in Wilton Manors on Friday morning.
The shooting was reported around 5:15 a.m. in the area of the 2700 block of North Andrews Avenue.
Wilton Manors Police said officers responded and found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg.
The woman was given treatment at the scene and taken to a local hospital. Her identity and exact condition weren’t released.
Footage from the scene showed blood on the ground and what appeared to be a bullet hole in the driver’s side window of a vehicle.
The woman was also seen being transported from the scene.
Surveillance video appears to show an argument inside the parking lot of the Palm Gardens Shopping Center.
A witness said it all started after an argument between two couples. He said he saw the gunman get into a white car with a woman before opening fire.
Police said the suspect fled the scene in a white four-door vehicle. Wilton Manors Police, along with Broward Sheriff’s deputies, located 20-year-old Daniel Selvin in connection with the shooting.
