Firefighters were battling a fire in the South Bay Saturday.
Cal Fire said crews were battling a half-acre near Hicks Road and Mount Umunhum Road, close to South San Jose. The fire was spreading slow and crews have already sprayed retardant and were making good progress, according to officials.
Cal Fire said no structures were threatened and no injuries have been reported so far.
