An overnight shooting in Trenton, New Jersey, left one man dead and another wounded, officials said.
According to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, police responded to the 300 block of East State Street for reports of a large disturbance and shots fired.
When police arrived, prosecutors said they found a 32-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A second man later arrived at the hospital in a personal vehicle with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, prosecutors said.
