Connecticut has a new way to explore the state’s many ghost stories.
The Connecticut Office of Tourism is launching a new Haunted History Trail ahead of Halloween. The trail highlights more than 130 locations across the state tied to haunted landmarks, paranormal lore, witch trials, and unexplained stories.
The trail includes haunted homes, museums, theaters, cemeteries, hiking trails, restaurants, lighthouses, and hotels, according to the tourism office’s website.

The Connecticut Office of Tourism is expected to officially launch the trail during an event in Wethersfield at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
