“Racist and offensive” graffiti is under investigation in Rocky Hill, according to police.
Officers said it was spray-painted in town between the evening hours of Saturday and the early morning hours of Sunday.
Some of the graffiti contains racist and offensive messaging, police said.
“The Rocky Hill Police Department condemns this type of conduct. This hateful messaging does not reflect the values of the Rocky Hill community, which is committed to treating all residents and visitors with dignity and respect,” the police posted on social media.
At this time, police are pursuing all investigative leads. Residents are asked to check their home security cameras. Anyone with information, video footage or other evidence is urged to contact the police department.
