A key member of the Mavericks’ roster will be in Dallas for the foreseeable future.
Forward Naji Marshall has agreed to a multiyear contract extension with the Mavericks, the team announced Sunday. Marshall, 28, averaged 15.2 points per game as he played a pivotal role alongside Cooper Flagg during the 2025-26 season.
Marshall will make $9.4 million this season, which is the final year of his 3-year, $27 million deal. His new 3-year deal is worth $52.2 million and is fully guaranteed, a person familiar with the contract told The Dallas Morning News.
“Naji has earned this opportunity through the way he approaches the game every day,” Mavericks president Masai Ujiri said in a statement. “He is a competitive player who impacts winning in a variety of ways. His versatility, toughness and willingness to embrace every challenge make him an important part of what we’re building.”
