The city of Plano’s fire department announced that parts of Parker Road at Lanarc Drive are closed due to a gas leak.
It’s unclear what caused the leak or when it started.
The city is asking people to use alternate routes and expect delays. This is just west of Independence Parkway.
Crews are working to safely mitigate the leak.
There’s no timeline right now and the city did not release any more information.
